How to place a tax-exempt order

In order to place a tax-exempt order this process must be followed before placing the order. If your shopping cart lists taxes, then your account has not been set up to be tax-exempt.

Anyone wishing to place a tax-exempt order (for a school, government, religious or charitable organization, or other tax-exempt entity) must complete the instructions below. MTM must link your MTM Online Store account to its tax-exempt database.

This is a one-time process, as long as you are logging in to the same MTM Online Store account.

Step 1
Create an account at the MTM Online Store. You can find this link in the upper right corner of the page under the account icon next to the shopping cart. MTM requires a complex password, twelve characters long, including upper and lower case letters, one number, and one special character to ensure security.

Step 2
Complete the Contact Us online form, asking to be set up as a tax-exempt entity. Make sure you use the same email address you used when creating your account. A customer care associate will respond to your inquiry.

Step 3
After your customer care associate responds, reply to the email, attaching a copy of your tax exemption certificate.

Step 4
MTM will configure the systems, linking your account to MTM’s tax-exempt database. Your customer care associate will email you that the process has been completed.

Step 5
Wait to receive an email confirmation from MTM stating that your account has been configured for tax-exempt status. Do not place an order before receiving this confirmation email or else the order will include taxes. Proceed with placing your order. The shopping cart will have zero sales tax.

This is the number of days it takes to produce the item, prior to shipping or curbside pickup. MTM understands that award presentations are very important. Please plan accordingly so you can receive a high-quality product on time for your presentation.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.


All products sold by MTM are guaranteed to be of excellent quality materials and workmanship. If our quality inspectors overlooked a factory defect, contact your Customer Care Associate within 10 days after delivery and we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number for the return. All shortages in shipment must be reported within 10 days of delivery to receive credit replacement.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
